Cherry English was thrilled to receive an invitation to the training week after having tried her hardest to persuade coach John Adams to include her on the squad some time ago. She was proud that coach Adams had a very unique duty for her and expressed her sincere gratitude to him as soon as she arrived. A task that demonstrated to him her readiness to assume the major responsibility of being chosen for the squad.
