Maya Kendrick, the next client, is greeted by Casey Calvert, a very bored masseuse, as she enters the parlour. While Maya exudes happiness and friendliness, Casey appears disinterested and would much rather be somewhere else. However, a job is a job, so she gets to work right away. As she receives the most unenthusiastic massage of her life, Maya realises something is obviously amiss. She finds out through small talk with Casey that Casey no longer has any enthusiasm for her work with clients. Casey used to get great satisfaction from making others feel good, but over time, he's become jaded. Maya is heartbroken to witness someone in such despair, so she sincerely tells Casey of all the benefits of her work. Not everything is bleak and awful. Despite Casey's perception that her profession is meaningless, it actually has a profound impact on everyone she encounters, including Maya! With time, Casey becomes more receptive to Maya's kind remarks and feels revitalised. She wants to give Maya the best possible conclusion because she feels so full of hope and vitality right now!
