Shawn Alff's (Liam) irritation is mounting. The Technician makes an effort to give him hope that something or someone is available to help him. He presents Liam to the companionship model known as the Delta Lux 9 (Kylie Rocket). During their interactions, Liam discovers that Delta Lux 9 can sense his thoughts. When VERA steps in, an awkward circumstance takes an unexpected turn.
