Due to improper chart reading by a doctor (Vicki Chase) and a nurse (Sinn Sage), a patient unintentionally passed away. When the nurse learns what has transpired, she becomes frightened and wants to follow protocol, but the doctor wants them to keep everything under wraps so she won't get into any trouble. This unethical behaviour horrifies the nurse, who begs the doctor to act morally. However, the nurse understands that the doctor is unmoved and intends to take advantage of her romantic feelings for her.
