Crashing The Slumber Party, Scene #01
While enjoying a sleepover, three teenagers—Lily Larimar, Athena Faris, and Maddy May—are participating in an entertaining personality test. Lily rolls her eyes at Athena and Maddy's flirtatious antics throughout the quiz since her lustful pals are so predictable. Sarah Vandella, Lily's stepmother, interrupts them shortly afterward to provide refreshments. Although Sarah is lingering eagerly because she is curious about the quiz, the girls are not hungry. Sarah's friends encourage her to join them after noticing her expression of longing. Lily is a little irritated, but Sarah is happy to join them, albeit feeling a little embarrassed. As she engages in customary slumber party activities with the teenagers, Sarah is ecstatic. They gossip, tell stories, and take quizzes. The friends are clearly captivated to Sarah and are infatuated with her the entire time. But as time goes on, Lily grows angrier and more ashamed, obviously not like having her stepmother around for THIS long. At last, Lily interrupts, informing Sarah that this is meant to be THEIR sleepover. Realizing she's overstayed her welcome, Sarah instantly apologizes, and the pals are irritated with Lily for ruining the moment. However, Sarah accepts responsibility for the situation when she says that because she is a lesbian and other girls avoided her company as a teenager, she never had her own sleepovers. The buddies encourage her, and Lily feels bad. The friends invite Sarah to stay even though she is going to leave. The pals acknowledge that they are attracted to Sarah and have hidden agendas, though, and want her to stick around. Lily is annoyed by their lust but not shocked. Sarah, meanwhile, is taken aback by the friends' advances. Sarah is approached by the friends, and Lily looks on in disbelief and humiliation.
