Eliza Ibarra, Kendra Spade, and Vanna Bardot are three high school students who were expelled from a class president discussion for excessive squabbling, and now they are all locked in detention together. Kendra is certain that she would be the ideal class president because she is so focused on her studies. But Eliza, the cheerleader, and Vanna, the theater geek, are both interested in running for class president. It's obvious that the three are unable to get along as they quarrel back and forth. They quickly learn, though, that the teacher has vanished from sight. They check the classroom door, and it remains in place! It appears that the janitor locked them inside and their teacher forgot about them! The janitor also turned off the heat, which is even worse! This night is going to be quite long. The girls become agitated and cold as the hours pass. They reluctantly curl up together on the teacher's desk to save heat, but their relationship is still strained.
