As it begins to rain in this prequel to THE BAD UNCLE, Laney Grey's character Crystal is swimming in a pool. When she realizes the doors are locked, she leaps out of her house and tries to enter again. It is disclosed that she moved home with one of her parents not too long ago, but their bond isn't the best. Before leaving for work, the parent in issue appears to have forgotten that the child was swimming. With no other option, Crystal decides to walk next door and ask her neighbors to let her stay inside while she waits out the storm. When she knocks while only wearing her bikini, Leon (Seth Gamble) and Joe (Charles Dera) meet her. She is invited inside to seek refuge. When Crystal requests a towel, they turn their backs on her and start asking her quick questions about her recent 18th birthday. Joking about that they didn't get Crystal anything for her birthday, Leon and Joe start to think of possible gifts for her. These two males are giving Crystal a peculiar vibe that she can't quite put her finger on. In order to keep Crystal warmer, Leon then removes his top and places it on her.
