W-why would you do something like that??" she stammers, her voice shaking. Shane leans in, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "I ain't tryin' to do a goddamn thing other than fix your car. You can leave anytime you want. Your car sure isn't going anywhere though," he says, his voice low and threatening. Anita is defiant, declaring that she'll walk if she has to. But Shane laughs, a cruel, mocking sound. He reminds her of the neighborhood they're in, of the danger that lurks outside. He offers her a deal—a way out. If she wants him to finish the job, she could always do...a little something...for him. Anita is horrified. She threatens to run out into the street, to call for help. But Shane just laughs again. He knows the people in this neighborhood hate cops. He knows that Anita wouldn't make it two blocks before something terrible happened to her. Her shoulders sag as she realizes the truth in his words. She's trapped, with no way out. But Anita is not one to go down without a fight.
