This Russian surfer dude, who goes by the name Hang Tide, comes into Pawn today and begs for $1,000 in order to buy two surf boards. It seems that he needs the money to rectify his visa status and catch a ticket back to Russia, or whatever it is that Russian surfer dudes do. Naturally, we try our hardest to assist our customers as much as we can here at the pawn store. What then did we do? We told him he had other possibilities to make up the remaining loot, so we just handed him three hundred for his boards. I gave him a bogus narrative about being a hobbyist photographer and wanting to snap some amazing pictures of him with his surfboards—nothing too extreme, of course. He purchased it, and then I had him in my romantic back room, exactly where I intended him to be HAHAHA! He needed to be convinced a few times before he would comply with our requests. But everyone ultimately pays a price; what's yours? ;)
